WWE this week said it will launch the WWE Network, a new 24/7 streaming network, Feb. 24.
The streaming network will offer on-demand, all 12 Pay-Per-View Events including WrestleMania, replays of Raw and Smackdown, In-Ring Shows, and original programming at $9.99 per month with a six-month commitment.
Users can access the network from their PC or other Internet-connected devices including Sony Corp.’s Playstation 4, Playstation 3, Microsoft Corp.’s Xbox 360, Amazon.com Inc.’s Kindle Fire, Roku, and iOS and Android mobile devices via the WWE App.
Access from the Xbox One and Smart TVs will launch this summer.
In addition, the network will grant access to archival events on-demand including WCW and ECW events, offer to remind users of an upcoming program airing, and offer second-screen functionality with supplementary information via a mobile device.
Finally, all network content will be broadcast in 720p high-definition resolution.
