Lenovo this week announced the ThinkPad X1 Carbon Ultrabook at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, NV.

Lenovo ThinkPad X1 CarbonThe ThinkPad X1 Carbon is constructed from carbon fiber and said to be the world’s lightest 14-inch Ultrabook at 2.8 pounds.

In addition, the product features an Adaptive Keyboard to highlight software-relevant keys, voice and gesture control, and includes Rapid Charge technology to provide an 80 percent charge in under one hour.

ThinkPad X1 Carbon SKUs start at $1299 and will be sold in late Jan.
