Target Corp. this week began offering a 25 bonus with the purchase of Microsoft Corp.’s Xbox 360 4GB Kinect Bundle in a new retail initiative.
This week, customers who purchase the Xbox 360 4GB Kinect Bundle at $199.99 will receive a $25 gift card at no additional cost.
The bundle includes the new Xbox 360 4GB hardware, Kinect sensor, Kinect Adventures and Kinect Sports.
Microsoft in July said the Entertainment and Devices division generated $1.8 billion in the fourth quarter, an increase of $134 million from the prior quarter.
Operating income totaled $142 million in Q4.
The Xbox 360 shipped 1 million units in the quarter, down from 1.1 million the year prior.
Microsoft will release the Xbox One entertainment system in Nov.
