Microsoft Corp. this week said Xbox Entertainment Studios will release an original documentary exclusive to the Xbox One and Xbox 360 via Xbox Live in 2014.

The documentary will investigate the burial of million of unsold game cartridges by The Atari Corporation after a negative response to the E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial video game.

The Xbox One features an 8-core AMD CPU, Radeon GPU, 8GB RAM, 500GB hard drive, Blu-ray disc drive, 802.11n Wireless with Wi-Fi Direct, HDMI, and USB 3.0.

It sells at $399.99.

First-party launch titles include Forza Motorsport 5, Ryse: Son of Rome, and Dead Rising 3.
