Microsoft Corp. this month will release a new update to Forza Motorsport 5 for the Xbox One which includes new tracks and economy balancing.
In addition, the update will include economy balancing to increase credits earned for races and lower prices for expensive cars.
Developed by Turn 10 Studios, Forza Motorsport 5 is a racing simulation title. New tracks include the Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca and Spa-Francorchamps.
The new physics engine is said to impact tire slip and grip, weight shifts, and the interaction of tire and track surface types.
The Limited Edition SKU includes the Limited Edition Car Pack with five cars, VIP Membership with exclusive benefits like 2x player reward acceleration and access to the VIP Car Pack, Day One Car Pack, SteelBook Case, and Decal Sheet at $79.99.
Car packs will be released each month post launch and will include ten individual cars. The first pack will be sold Nov. 22, with new packs to be sold between Jan. and Mar. 2014.
Buyers can purchase individual cars a la carte, or purchase the Forza Motorsport Car Pass to access the first six car packs at $49.99.
The Xbox One sells at $399.99.
