Retail stores this week will price cut Sony Corp.’s Playstation Vita to under $180 in a Black Friday sale.
Retailers including Target Corp., Toys R Us Inc., Wal-Mart Stores Inc. and GameStop Corp. will sell the PS Vita Wi-Fi SKU or 3G SKU at $179.99.
Best Buy Co. Inc. will sell either SKU at $169.99 in the same period.
Sony in July said the PS Vita and PSP units sold 600,000 combined in the three-month period between Apr. and June 2013.
It forecasts sales of five million PS Vita and PSP units by fiscal Mar. 2014.
