Sales for Sony Corp.’s Playstation 3 ranked fourth in Japan in the latest retail figures for the region.
Media Create Co. this month reported the PS3 sold 12,019 units between Nov. 11 to Nov. 17 to rank No. 4 in overall hardware sales.
By comparison, the hardware sold 11,867 units the week prior.
The hardware ranked four titles in the top 10, including Call of Duty: Ghosts at No. 2, World Soccer Winning Eleven 2014 at No. 3, Grand Theft Auto V at No. 9, and Battlefield 4 at No. 10.
Sony this week said the Playstation 4 has sold through 1 million units in 24 hours post launch in the U.S. and Canada.
The hardware will be released in Europe and Latin America Nov. 29. It will be sold Feb. 22 in Japan.
The PS4 is sold at $399.99.

Sony this week issued a new Blinking Blue Light FAQ for the Playstation 4 following select reports of hardware malfunction.
The FAQ disclaims that when users see a blinking blue indicator light may be related to TV compatibility, issues with the PS4 power supply, issues with the PS4 hard drive, or issues with other PS4 hardware.P>
Blinking blue light symptoms include no audio / video output to the TV and the console powering off after blinking blue.
Solutions include updating the PS4 firmware via Software Update, disconnecting the PS4 power supply from the outlet, checking HDMI or power supply inputs for damage, and making sure the hard drive is properly seated in the HDD bay.
