Ubisoft Inc. this week released a patch to update the native resolution of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag for Sony Corp.’s Playstation 4.
The title update download upgrades the default 900p native resolution to 1080p native resolution.
In addition, the developer said a new anti-aliasing technique in the update helps to reduce the appearance of jagged edges.
Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag features a new rebel assassin, Edward Kenway, who can switch between new weaponry including four flintlock pistols and dual cutlass swords.
The open world includes 50 locations to conduct pirate assassin activity to command a ship, the Jackdaw. In addition, users can pillage enemy ships to upgrade the Jackdaw with ammunition, equipment and disguises.
