Microsoft Corp. this week said it will release Halo: Spartan Assault to the Xbox One and the Xbox 360 in Dec.

Halo Spartan AssaultThe title will be sold as a digital download product. It features more than 30 missions and will include online co-op multiplayer functionality.

The final game will include the Operation Hydra expansion for the single-player campaign.

Halo: Spartan Assault was previously released to the PC and Windows mobile devices.

Developed by 343 Industries in conjunction with Vanguard Games, the top-down action title incorporated touch-screen controls and trademark Halo warfare.

The Xbox One will utilize an 8-core AMD CPU, Radeon GPU, 8GB RAM, 500GB hard drive, Blu-ray disc drive, 802.11n Wireless with Wi-Fi Direct, HDMI, and USB 3.0.

The Xbox One Day One Edition includes the Xbox One hardware, Kinect camera, Day One Controller, Xbox Live 14-Day Trial, Day One Achievement, Premium Packaging and Decal.

It will be sold Nov. 22
