Sony Corp. this month said new next-generation hardware techniques were utilized to create character models in Killzone: Shadow Fall for the Playstation 4.
To create The Black Hand, a radical Helghast subfaction, developer Guerilla Games cut and sewed digital clothing patterns that pre-compute to create natural folds and seams.
Killzone: Shadow Fall, to be sold in Nov., is set thirty years after the events of the Killzone trilogy.
The two rival factions of the Helghast and the Vektans live side by side in a futuristic city, divided by a vast wall. A Shadow Marshall must maintain the balance between the two former enemies.
The final game is said to include standard shooting and infiltration missions.
The PS4 will be sold at $399.99 Nov. 15.
