Sony Corp. this week said it will release the PS Vita TV in Japan Nov. 14.

The console device, based on PS Vita hardware, will connect to a television set and allow users to play PS Vita, Playstation and PS1 titles.

In addition, users can access streaming content services in the region including Hulu, Tsutaya TV, and Nico Nico Douga.

The device will sell at 9,480 yen or with a Dualshock 3 controller at 14,280 yen.

The company did not announce a release date in territories outside Japan.
