Nintendo Co. this week said price cut three best-selling Wii titles in a new permanent price reduction.
Titles now at $29.99 each include Super Mario Galaxy 2, New Super Mario Bros. Wii and Wii Sports Resort.
For the three month period ending June 30, the company recorded a net profit of $87.93 million and revenue of $831 million.
The Wii U sold 160,000 hardware units and 1.03 million software units in the first quarter. It has sold 3.91 million units worldwide to date.
Nintendo will sell The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD Wii U Deluxe Bundle Sept. 20.
The bundle will include a Black Deluxe Wii U console, Wii U GamePad with custom gold Zelda décor, Hyrule Historia download code, and The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD download code at $299.99.
