Microsoft Corp. this month said Xbox Live Gold users can share digital games with their family and friends on the Xbox One console via online login.

When an Xbox Live Gold member logs in from home, all family member digital game purchases can be accessed via the home console from each gamertag.

In addition, an Xbox Live Gold member can access his or her digital game library or employ online multiplayer functionality from a friend’s Xbox One console after login.

Microsoft in Aug. said select Xbox One features will be available to Xbox Live Gold members only, including the OneGuide to view the TV guide, Game DVR to record and upload game clips, Skype to chat with online friends, and SmartMatch to pair like players in online matches.

Microsoft will release the Xbox One entertainment system in Nov.
