Crytek Inc. this month released the Behind the Scenes Trailer for Ryse: Son of Rome for Microsoft Corp.’s Xbox One.
The trailer features performance capture techniques utilized in production of the final game.
Ryse: Son of Rome, to be sold in Nov., features Marius Titus on a campaign to avenge the death of his family.
His rise in the ranks of the Roman army will take him from a barbarian-filled Britannia to the center of Rome.
Other characters include Vitallion, a Roman general and mentor to Marius, and Nero, emperor of Rome and father to controllers of Brittania Commodus and Basillius.
The final game will include close-quarters combat, epic battle sequences, and Kinect functionality to command troops in battle.
The Xbox One will launch this Nov. in the U.S. at $499.99.
The Xbox One Day One Edition includes the Xbox One hardware, Kinect camera, Day One Controller, Xbox Live 14-Day Trial, Day One Achievement, Premium Packaging and Decal.
