Target Corp. this week price cut Microsoft Corp.’s Xbox 360 4GB Kinect Bundle to under $250 in a new retail initiative.

This week, the Xbox 360 4GB Kinect Bundle sells at $249.99, $50 off the $299.99 MSRP.

Microsoft in Apr. said the Entertainment and Devices division generated $2.53 billion in the third quarter, a 56 percent increase from 2012.

It held an operating income of $342 million in the quarter.

In addition, the Xbox Live division currently holds 48 million members.

Microsoft will release the Xbox One entertainment system in Nov.
