U.S. retail this week began pre-order sales for Microsoft Corp.’s Xbox One.

Retailer Amazon.com Inc. opened pre-order sales this week following the launch of the Xbox One product page.

In addition, Best Buy Co. Inc. began pre-order sales at BestBuy.com, GameStop Corp. began sales at GameStop.com, and Wal-Mart Stores Inc. began pre-sales at Walmart.com.

Xbox OneMicrosoft this week said the Xbox One will launch this Nov. in the U.S. at $499.99.

The Day One Edition will include a limited edition Day One Controller, Xbox Live 14-Day Trial, and Day One Achievement.

The Xbox One will utilize an 8-core AMD CPU, Radeon GPU, 8GB RAM, 500GB hard drive, Blu-ray disc drive, 802.11n Wireless with Wi-Fi Direct, HDMI, and USB 3.0.

The new Kinect, included with each Xbox One, includes a 1080p HD RGB camera and features 30 frames-per-second color, Time of Flight technology, and Microphone Arrays.

The Xbox One Controller features an integrated battery compartment, Impulse Triggers, Wi-Fi Direct Radio Stack, and a Precision Directional Pad.

Microsoft will release 15 exclusive titles to Xbox One, including eight brand new franchises.

New game titles include Forza Motorsport 5 and Quantum Break.

Finally, the hardware will require an internet connection.
