Sony Corp. this week said it will release new titles and a new bundle for the Playstation Vita.
New titles include Batman: Arkham Origins and Destiny of Spirits.
In addition, a new PS Vita Walking Dead Bundle, which will include Season 1 and Walking Dead: 400 Days, will be sold at retail.
Sony in Feb. said the game division held an operating profit of $49.3 million in the third quarter, down 86 percent from the year prior.
The Playstation Vita and PSP sold 2.7 million units combined in Q3. However, the company slashed shipment forecasts for the handhelds to seven million units by the end of fiscal Mar., down from a forecast of 16 million units.
Handheld software sales fell to 8.9 million from 11.4 million.
