Activision Blizzard Inc. this week previewed Call of Duty: Ghosts for Sony Corp.’s Playstation 4, Playstation 3, Microsoft Corp.’s Xbox One, Xbox 360 and the PC.
New gameplay included the ability to control an attack dog named Riley to scout the area or take down enemy soldiers. Controls included aim of the bite attack and the option to bark in order to call attention to enemies.
Another level featured an underwater sequence in which users had to launch a missile toward an enemy ship.
The next installment in the franchise, developed by Infinity Ward, will include an all-new story, all-new characters, and a next-generation Call of Duty engine.
It will be sold Nov. 5.
