Media Create Co. this month reported the PS3 sold 13,318 units between May 20 and May 26 to rank No. 2 in overall hardware sales.
By comparison, the hardware sold 10,948 units the week prior.
The hardware ranked three titles in the top 10, including Capcom Co.’s Resident Evil Revelations at No. 3, which sold 102,673 units at launch.
Sony this week said Playstation 4 titles will utilize the PS Vita Remote Play function by default.

Yaiba Ninja Gaiden Z is a new title in the Ninja Gaiden franchise in which the users play as cyborg ninja to battle zombies.
The title is in development at Team Ninja in collaboration with Keiji Inafune, founder of comcept and developer Spark Unlimited.

Media Create Co. this month reported that the Wii U sold 5,648 units between May 20 and May 26 to rank at No. 5 in overall sales.
It sold 6,037 units the week prior.
The hardware ranked one title in the top 10 for the week, Capcom Co.’s Resident Evil Revelations, which sold 8,398 units at launch to rank at No. 10.
The Wii sold 1,192 units in the same period.

This week, Resident Evil Revelations ranked as the No. 3 best-selling digital download product among Wii U titles at the Nintendo eShop.
Nintendo this week said it will sell a new Wii U 32GB Deluxe Set White SKU in Japan July 13.
The 32GB Deluxe Set White SKU will sell at 31,500 yen ($311 US).
The company will concurrently sell the 8GB Basic Set White SKU in the region.
In addition, Nintendo will sell a larger battery pack for the Wii U GamePad. The 2,550mAh battery pack will hold a five to eight hour charge, increased from the prior 1,500mAh battery with a three to five hour charge. It will sell July 25 at 3,150 yen ($35 US).
An official Wii Remote Plus Battery Pack with charger will be sold July 13 at 2,625 yen ($26 US).
