EA Inc. this week said it will release four new EA Sports titles in the next 12 months to Sony Corp.’s Playstation 4 and Microsoft Corp.’s Xbox One.

New titles include Madden 25, FIFA 14, NBA Live 14, and UFC.

Each title will be powered by a new engine called EA Sports Ignite said to feature 10 times the detail compared to prior entries.

The PS4 hardware, to be sold this holiday, will utilize a PC-like architecture with a x86-based AMD Jaguar 8-core CPU, a 1.84 TLFOPS AMD next-generation Radeon GPU, and GDDR5 8GB RAM. IN addition the hardware will feature a 6X Blu-ray disc drive, USB 3.0 interface, Ethernet, Bluetooth 2.1, HDMI, and digital output.

The Xbox One will utilize an 8-core CPU, 8GB RAM, 500GB hard drive, Blu-ray disc drive, 802.11n Wireless with Wi-Fi Direct, HDMI, and USB 3.0.

The new Kinect, included with each Xbox One, includes a 1080p HD RGB camera and features 30 frames-per-second color, Time of Flight technology, and Microphone Arrays.
