Pre-order sales for Capcom Co.’s Resident Evil Revelations for Sony Corp.’s Playstation 3 and Microsoft Corp.’s Xbox 360 held solid demand at GameStop Corp.’s online division this week pending release of the title.
This week, the Resident Evil Revelations PS3 SKU ranked as the No. 8 best-selling pre-order title at GameStop.com. The Xbox 360 SKU ranked at No. 9 in the same period.
Resident Evil Revelations will include enhanced HD graphics, online Raid Mode co-op functionality, the Hunk playable character in Raid Mode, a new enemy, new Raid weapons and new Custom Parts to outfit weaponry.
The survival horror title, to be sold May. 21, will be sold at retail at $49.99. In addition, it will be sold digitally at launch to the PS3 and the PC, with Xbox 360 and Wii U digital releases to be sold post launch.
Resident Evil Revelations, released to the Nintendo 3DS in 2012, introduces the Federal Bioterrorism Commission and the city of Terrogrigia, which was destroyed in a terrorist attack by an organization called Veltro.
