Nintendo Co. this week said Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon for the Nintendo 3DS sold more than 500,000 units at U.S. retail post launch in late Mar.
The title sold 140,000 units in Apr. for a cumulative total of 530,000 units sold to date according to data by NPD Group Inc.
Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon is the follow-up to the 2001 release for the Nintendo GameCube.
The title includes the new Poltergust weapon to vacuum or blow enemies and solve new puzzles.
The Hunter Mode allows up to four local and online users to clear each floor of ghosts before the clock strikes zero in the ScareScraper.
