Capcom Co. this week reported a $30 million profit in the fiscal year ending Mar. 31, 2013.

The figure represented a 55.8 percent decrease from the year prior due to a special loss related to development business restructuring.

Net sales increased to $951 million, up 14.6 percent from the year prior. Operating income fell to $102 million, down 17.6 percent from one year ago.

The company noted strong initial digital download sales for Resident Evil 6, solid sales for DmC: Devil May Cry, better-than-expected sales for Dragon’s Dogma in global territories, and solid digital sales for Monster Hunter Tri for the Wii U.

Capcom says it will focus on future releases, including Monster Hunter 4 for the Nintendo 3DS and Lost Planet 3 for the Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and the PC to further growth for the next fiscal year.
