Electronic Arts Inc. this week recorded a $323 million profit in the fourth quarter on strong sales of key franchise titles in the quarter.

Battlefield 3 Premium sold 3.5 million subscriptions in the quarter to generate $120 million in revenue. In addition FIFA 13 has sold through 14.5 million units in the fiscal year and SimCity sold 1.6 million units.

EA and The Walt Disney Company this week announced an agreement in which the former will develop and publish new titles in the Star Wars franchise.

Titles to be sold this year include FIFA 14, Madden 25, and The Sims 4.
