Nintendo Co.’s Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon for the Nintendo 3DS ranked in the 10 sales in the month of Mar. at U.S. retail.
NPD Group Inc. this week said Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon ranked as the No. 6 best-selling software across all platforms, selling 365,000 physical copies. In addition, Nintendo said the title sold 50,000 digital units based on internal data.
Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon is the follow-up to the 2001 release for the Nintendo GameCube.
The title includes the new Poltergust weapon to vacuum or blow enemies or solve new puzzles.
The final game includes local and online multiplayer functionality.
The Hunter Mode allows up to four local and online users to clear each floor of ghosts before the clock strikes zero in the ScareScraper.
