Capcom Co. this week said released a new software update for Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate for Nintendo Co.’s Wii U.
The new update allows users to play the title Off-TV on the Wii U GamePad and merges the North American and European server into one.
Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, to be sold Mar. 19, includes touch-screen access to inventory and more than 200 quests.
In addition, the title allows Wii U and 3DS owners to hunt with each other via local wireless connection and transfer save data between the hardware.
The Monster Hunter franchise has sold more than 21 million units to date worldwide.
The Wii U has sold more than three million units in global markets.
