Retailer Amazon.com Inc. this month began offering bonus in-game content for EA Inc.’s Battlefield 4 to early bird customers.
Customers who pre-order the title prior to Apr. 13 will receive additional in-game content when the game launches this fall.
Battlefield 4 will be sold this fall for Sony Corp.’s Playstation 3, Microsoft Corp.’s Xbox 360 and the PC.
The title will include new sea vehicles, indoor and outdoor warfare, environmental destruction, and the ability to command AI soldiers to focus fire on an individual or group of enemies.
The previous entry, Battlefield 3 was released in 2012 and includes the Frostbite 2 engine, online vehicle warfare with land, sea, and air vehicles, and combat across the U.S., Europe, and Middle East.
