Capcom Co.’s Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate for Nintendo Co.’s Wii U held strong demand at Wal-Mart Stores Inc.’s online division due to building demand.
This week, Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate ranked as the No. 14 pre-order product at Walmart.com’s Video Games division.
The Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate demo, available now, includes two full quests, one for beginners and another for intermediate hunters, in addition to 12 different weapon options.
Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, to be sold Mar. 19, will include touch-screen access to inventory and more than 200 quests.
The Monster Hunter franchise has sold more than 21 million units to date worldwide.
The Wii U has sold more than three million units in global markets.
