Microsoft Corp. this week launched new Telemunod and Neon Valley entertainment apps to the Xbox Live division of the Xbox 360.

Telemundo and Neon Valley are now available in the U.S. market. Telemundo offers access to novellas and shows, whle Neon Valley offers uncut and English-dubbed anime.

Microsoft in Jan. said it shipped 5.9 million Xbox 360 consoles in the second fiscal quarter, a decline from 8.2 million units the year prior.

The Entertainment and Devices division, which includes the Xbox business, recorded revenue of $3.8 billion, a 11 percent decline from one year ago.

Operating income increased 15 percent to $596 million.
