Sony Corp. this week said The Last of Us for the Playstation 3 will be delayed from a previous May release to June 13.
Developer Naughty Dog Inc. said it required several more weeks to launch the anticipated title in order to meet the company’s quality standards.
The Last of Us is said to include survival and action elements amid abandoned cities decimated by a plague.
Users will guide to survivors to journey across the U.S.
Action elements include third-person shooting and contextual melee struggles against enemies.
The Survival Edition will include the Steelbook Edition of the game, Artbook, The Last of Us – American Dreams #1 Comic, Sights and Sounds DLC Pack, and Naughty Dog Sticker Sheet at $79.99.
The Sights & Sounds Pack includes the official game soundtrack, PS3 Dynamic Theme, and PSN Avatars.
The Post-Pandemic Edition will include a 12-inch Premium Statue, Steelbook Edition of the game, The Last of Us – American Dreams #1 Comic, Survival DLC Pack, Sights and Sounds DLC Pack, and Naughty Dog Sticker Sheet at $159.99 at GameStop.
The Survival Pack DLC Pack includes Bonus Experience Points, Multiplayer Melee Attack Booster, In Game Currency for Multiplayer Characters, Customizable Items for Multiplayer, and Bonus Skins for Joel and Ellie.
