Tecmo Koei America Corp. this week detailed the Hero Mode in Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Plus for Sony Corp.’s Playstation Vita handheld.
Hero Mode will offer temporary advantages when health runs low, including auto-block, auto-evade, increased damage, and a higher chance to dismember enemies.
In addition, the title will include a number of key boss battles against Genshin, Alexei, Volf, Zedonius, and Black Dragon.
Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Plus, to be sold Feb. 26, will include brand new front and rear touch control features, new modes like Ninja Race to compete with enemies to reach the end goal, and Tag Mission to allow users to switch between two ninjas in real-time.
Ninja Race Mode is a time attack mode that requires users to kill as many enemies as possible to earn boost and points.
In Tag Missions, users can switch between team members in real-time to complete challenges, with the other team member under AI control.
Finally, customers who pre-order the title at GameStop Corp. retailers will receive limited edition costumes.
Sony last winter released the PS Vita Assassin’s Creed: Liberation Bundle at $249.99 and the PS Vita Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified Bundle at $249.99.
