Nintendo Co. this week said Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity for the Nintendo 3DS will launch with downloadable content available at the Nintendo eShop.
The first DLC, Poke Forest Mystery Dungeon, will be free to download through Apr. 30. Three additional DLC dungeons will be available to purchase at launch, with subsequent content available in Apr.
Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity, to be sold Mar. 24, will include more than 20 randomly-generated 3D dungeons five popular Pokemon characters – Pikachu, Snivy, Oshawott, Tepig, or Axew.
In addition, users can access additional Mystery Dungeons through Magnagates by scanning objects in the real world using the Nintendo 3DS camera.
The final game will include wireless multiplayer functionality.
Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity will be sold at retail stores and digitally via the Nintendo eShop.
