Sony Corp. this week released new details for Killzone: Mercenary to the Playstation Vita.
Killzone: Mercenary Game Director Piers Jackson of Guerilla Cambridge told the Playstation Blog this week that the company tried to get the full console experience to the PS Vita handheld and that graphics from the title would be similar to Killzone 3.
Also, each of the title’s nine missions will be between 40 minutes to 1 hour in length and include large set pieces.
Killzone: Mercenary, to be sold Sept. 17, will include shooting and close-combat first-person action in nine single-player paid-job scenarios.
In addition, the title includes multiplayer functionality for up to eight players with six maps and three game types.
The PS Vita, which began sale Feb. 22 in the U.S., is sold in a Wi-Fi only model at $249.99 and a 3G model at $299.99.
