Sony Corp. this week said it will release Killzone: Mercenary to the Playstation Vita Sept. 17.
The title will include shooting and close-combat first-person action in nine single-player paid-job scenarios.
In addition, the title includes multiplayer functionality for up to eight players with six maps and three game types.
A new trailer released this week features explosive action to be found in the final game.
The PS Vita, which began sale Feb. 22 in the U.S., is sold in a Wi-Fi only model at $249.99 and a 3G model at $299.99.
