Best Buy Co. Inc. this week price cut Nintendo Co.’s Nintendo 3DS XL handhelds by $30 in a new sale initiative.

This week, the Nintendo 3DS XL handheld sells at $169.99, down from $199.99.

Nintendo this month cut fiscal year sales projections for the Nintendo 3DS to 15 million units from 17.5 million units. It has sold 29.84 million 3DS units to date.

New releases in Q1 include Fire Emblem Awakening Feb. 4, Brain Age: Concentration Training Feb. 10, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate Mar. 5, Naruto Powerful Shippidden Mar. 5, Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate Mar. 19, Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon Mar. 24, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity Mar. 24, and LEGO City Undercover: The Chase Begins Apr. 21.
