2K Games, a division of Take Two Interactive Inc., this week released the ‘Columbia: A Modern Day Icarus?’ Trailer for Bioshock Infinite for Sony Corp.’s Playstation 3, Microsoft Corp.’s Xbox 360 and the PC.
The new trailer includes a segment that questions the mysteries of the in-game city Columbia.
Bioshock Infinite is a first-person shooter title to be released in 2012.
The new installment will include a new protagonist hired to rescue a young woman said to be held in a sky city called Columbia.
New gameplay includes aerial combat and high-speed Sky-Lines.
The 1999 Mode is said to offer a challenging form of play for veteran users, including demanding weapon, power, and health management and a direct ‘Game Over’ screen if the user lacks the resources to be brought back to life.
In addition, the mode will include permanent decisions that will include permanent consequences in the difficult mode.
The final game is said to utilize the Unreal Engine 3.
The Bioshock Infinite Premium Edition will include a 3-inch Murder of Crows vigor bottle keychain, 5 x 7-inch lithograph, 25 millimeter Handyman miniature, mini art book, and digital goods including in-game gear and digital soundtrack at $79.99.
The Ultimate Songbird Edition will add a 9.5-inch monster statue at $149.99.
