Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd. this week announced the Ascend Mate smartphone at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, NV.
The Ascend Mate includes a super-sized 6.1-inch 1280 x 720 resolution screen, quad-core 1.5Ghz CPU, 8MP camera, 4050mAH battery, and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
The product trumps Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd.’s Galaxy Note II as the largest screen smartphone to date. The Note II includes a 5.55-inch Super AMOLED screen at 720p resolution.
The Ascend Mate will ship in China in Jan. and other markets in Mar.
