Nvidia Corp. this week announced the Tegra 4 Mobile Processor at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, NV.
The Tegra 4 features 72 custom Nvidia GeForce GPU cores to equal six times the power of the Tegra 3.
In addition, the processor will include a quad-core Cortex-A15 ARM-based CPU for about 2.6 times faster web browsing and performance in applications.
Finally, the Tegra 4 offers optional 4G LTE functionality with the Nvidia Icera i5000 processor and will support 4K ultra high-definition video.
The Tegra 4 can be furnished in smartphones, tablets, game devices, auto infotainment devices and PCs.
