Sony Corp. this week said EA Inc.’s NBA Jam On Fire Edition is now available at no cost at the Playstation Network to Playstation Plus owners.
The title includes NBA players and legends in two vs. two offline and online arcade action.
Atlus Inc. this week said it will release Demon’s Souls to the Playstation Network division Jan. 8.
The survival action title will launch with servers set to Pure White Tendency, in which enemies will have decreased HP, attack power, and defense, while players will inflict more attack damage.
In addition, enemies drop fewer upgrade stones and more healing items.
Pure White Tendency will occur between Jan. 8 and Jan. 14.

Sony Corp. this week said Epix, a premium content provider, will offer programming to the Playstation Network for the Playstation 3 and PS Vita this year.
In the agreement, Epix will provide more than 3,000 new release and classic feature films, concerts, comedy specials, sports, and other original programming this year.
The application will be free to download via PSN and current Epix subscribers will have access to stream premium entertainment content instantly.
Microsoft Corp. this week said VBlack Entertainment Inc.’s Retro City Rampage is now available in the Xbox Live division of the Xbox 360.
The title is sold at 800 Microsoft Points.
Retro City Rampage is downloadable 80’s style action game that pays homage to 8-bit action titles.
Users can steal cars, jump on pedestrians for coins, and shoot a light gun or swing with a bionic arm.
The full story mode includes more than 50 missions, with 30 challenges in Arcade Mode, and more than 25 weapons.
Microsoft this week said the Cloud Saved Games feature for the Xbox 360 after a multi-day outage.
The company apologized for the delay and inconvenience of the feature outage, which allows Xbox 360 owners to save game progress to the cloud rather than traditional hard drive or memory storage.
As a result, Microsoft is offering a one-month extension of Xbox Live Gold service to members affected by the outage.

Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, to be sold Mar. 2013, will include touch-screen access to inventory and more than 200 quests.
