Capcom Co. this week said a new premium DLC for Resident Evil 6 for Microsoft Corp.’s Xbox 360 will be sold Dec. 18.
New modes including Predator, Survivors, and Onslaught will be sold at 320 Microsoft Points each, or in a bundle at 720 Microsoft Points.
In Predator, users take the role of Ustanak to defeat humans (2 – 6 players). In Survivors, is a solo and team-based versus mode in which killed players respawn as enemies (2 – 6 players). Finally, in Onslaught two players compete head-to-head to defeat enemies and deploy chain combos to send enemies to the opponent’s screen.
A Dec. 17 Title Update will unlock the Ada campaign, No Hope difficulty setting, and new in-game camera settings.
The update will be available at no cost.
Resident Evil 6 features three solo or co-op campaigns featuring Leon S. Kennedy, Chris Redfield, and Jake Muller in intersecting storylines.
The final game includes the Agent Hunt Mode to invade another user’s game as an enemy and the Mercenaries Mode to compete in time-based challenges.
The Resident Evil video game franchise has sold more than 47 million copies worldwide to date. The live action movies have grossed more than $525 million in global markets.
