Sony Corp. this month announced a new update to the YouTube application for the Playstation Vita handheld.

Version 2 features subscriptions and channels, improved controls, playlists, closed captions, continuous playback, share and improved search functionality.

Sony in Nov. said it sold more than 160,000 Playstation Vita units during the week of Black Friday.

The company this winter released the PS Vita Assassin’s Creed: Liberation Bundle at $249.99 and the PS Vita Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified Bundle at $249.99.
