Activision Blizzard Inc. this week said Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 will allow users to live stream gameplay to YouTube.
As part of the Call of Duty Elite service, users can live stream multiplayer League Play games in addition to a player’s webcam and audio commentary during play.
Streams can be viewed via YouTube on browsers, mobile and tablets through Call of Duty Elite and YouTube user channels.
Call of Duty Elite offers free services like Player HQ, Clan HQ, and Call of Duty Elite TV options. It was previously sold as a premium service.
Developed by Treyarch, Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, to be sold Nov. 13, will include a brand new single-player campaign and multiplayer functionality.
Locations previewed in the title include Los Angeles and a mission set in Afghanistan in which users must ride horseback.
The final game will include new Strike Force missions that affect the story and the Zombies multiplayer mode.
