Ubisoft Inc. this week released Assassin’s Creed III for Sony Corp.’s Playstation 3, Microsoft Corp.’s Xbox 360, and the PC to U.S. retail.
Set in Mohawk Valley in 1777, Assassin’s Creed III features an all-new Native American warrior protagonist in a fight to protect his land and ignite a revolution.
Assassin’s Creed III incorporates fighting and stealth abilities in new frontier locations that allow Connor to scale trees and cliffs.
In addition, the control setup offers tactile functionality and dexterity.
Finally, the title includes hunting functionality to hunt, track, and skin wildlife.
Ubisoft in Feb. said it sold seven million copies of Assassin’s Creed Revelations in the third quarter ending Dec. 31.
