Google Inc. this week said it will sell the Nexus 10 tablet starting at $399.00 on Nov. 13.

The Nexus 10, manufactured by Samsung Electronics Co., will include a 10.1-inch Super AMOLED display at 2560 x 1600 resolution, Dual-Core Exynos 5 chip at 1.7Ghz, Quad-Core Mali T604 GPU, 5MP rear camera, 1.9MP front camera, 2GB RAM, NFC, 802.11n, Bluetooth 4.0, and 9,000mAh battery.

The chassis is thin and weighs 1.33 lbs with a rubberized backing. Software includes Android 4.2.

The 16GB SKU will sell at $399.00 and the 32GB will sell at $499.00. By comparison, Apple Inc.’s iPad 2 sells at $399 and the latest 4th generation iPad sells at $499.00. In addition, Microsoft Corp.’s 32GB Surface sells at $499.99.

The Nexus 7 16GB is now $199.00, with the 32GB SKU at $249.00 and 32GB with HSPA+ at $299.00.

Finally, the Nexus 4 smartphone developed by LG Inc. will be sold at $299.00 Nov. 13.
