Microsoft Corp. this week released the Forza Horizon demo for the Xbox 360 to the Xbox Live division.
The demo clocks in at 1.57GB and is available at no cost to Xbox Live Gold members.
Developed by Playground Games with Turn 10 Studios, Forza Horizon is said to include an open-road world that will allow users to explore the territory.
It will be sold Oct. 23 at U.S. retail.
Customers who pre-order Forza Horizon will receive the Horizon-themed 2012 Dodge Challenger SRT8 392 in-game vehicle and an additional select vehicle.
The Forza Horizon Limited Edition will include a Horizon-branded Steelbook with Horizon Festival Ticket for access to an extra five-car pack, limited edition car pack liveries, and Accelerator Token Pack.
The Limited Edition will include VIP membership VIP members will include exclusive access to VIP Rivals Mode Events, in-game gifts, an expanded storefront, expanded gallery space, and access to five exclusive vehicles.
Customers who pre-order the Limited Edition SKU will receive the exclusive 2012 Aston Marton Virage.
Microsoft in 2011 released Forza Motorsport 4 which included comprehensive outfit modes, vehicles, upgrades, and online play for casual or pro drivers.
