Wal-Mart Stores Inc. this week began selling Nintendo Co.’s Wii U hardware in a new bundle configuration to online customers.

This week, customers can pre-order the Nintendo Wii U Solution Bundle, which includes the Wii U Basic Set, choice of Wii U Game Title, and choice of Wii Remote Plus or Wii U Pro Controller at $399.00.

The Basic Set will include the Wii U console and the Wii U GamePad in White, 8GB storage, AC adapters, HDMI cable and Wii U sensor bar at $299.99.

The Deluxe Set will include the Wii U console and Wii U GamePad in Black, 32GB storage, GamePad Charging Cradle, Stands for the GamePad and Console, AC adapters, HDMI cable, and Nintendo Land at $349.99.

Both SKUs will be sold Nov. 18.

The Wii U is backwards compatible with most Wii games and accessories, including the Wii Remote, Nunchuck, and Wii Balance Board.

A new entertainment application called Nintendo TVii will allow U.S. and Canada customers to view and engage in video content from multiple sources, including live TV, a Tivo DVR, YouTube, and video on-demand services like Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Instant Video.

New Super Mario Bros. Wii U will be available at launch, while third-party titles like Capcom Co.’s Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate will be sold in Mar. 2013.

In addition, Activision Blizzard Inc. announced Call of Duty: Black Ops II for the Wii U. The release will include exclusive features like off-TV play and local multiplayer for two using the GamePad and an HDTV.

Other titles from the publisher include Skylanders Giants and Transformers Prime.

A total of 50 titles will be available in the Wii U launch window between Nov. and Mar. 2013.
