Nintendo Co. this week said the Wii U hardware will launch Nov. 18 with 23 software titles.
First-party launch titles include New Super Mario Bros. U, Nintendo Land, and Sing Party.
Third-party launch titles include ZombiU, Call of Duty: Black Ops II, Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge, Skylanders Giants, Tranformers Prime, Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Wii U Edition, Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed, Warriors Orochi 3 Hyper, Darksiders II, Assassin’s Creed III, ESPN Sports Connection, Just Dance 4, Rabbids Land, Your Shape: Fitness Evolved 2013, Sribblenauts Unlimited, Game Party Championship, Batman: Arkham City Armored Edition, Disney Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two, FIFA Soccer 13, and Wipeout 3.
The Wii U will be sold in Basic Set and Deluxe Set.
The Basic Set will include the Wii U console and the Wii U GamePad in White, 8GB storage, AC adapters, HDMI cable and Wii U sensor bar at $299.99.
The Deluxe Set will include the Wii U console and Wii U GamePad in Black, 32GB storage, GamePad Charging Cradle, Stands for the GamePad and Console, AC adapters, HDMI cable, and Nintendo Land at $349.99.
Both SKUs will be sold Nov. 18.
The Wii U is backwards compatible with most Wii games and accessories, including the Wii Remote, Nunchuck, and Wii Balance Board.
In addition, the Wii U Pro Controller will be sold at launch at $49.99.
