Sony Corp. this week released LittleBigPlanet for the Playstation Vita to U.S. retail.

Developed by Tarsier Studios and Media Molecule, the title includes a brand new story mode, new art, new features, and new tools.

In addition, the title utilize touch and tilt functionality for new level interactivity.

Sony will release LittleBigPlanet Karting to the Playstation 3 this fall.

The PS Vita includes dual analog sticks, a 5-inch multi-touch OLED display, 3G & GPS, front and rear touch panels, and a compass on three axes. It will utilize flash-memory game cards.

The PS Vita is sold in a Wi-Fi SKU at $249.99 and a 3G SKU at $299.99.
