Inc.’s new Kindle Fire HD 7-inch SKU ranked as the top-selling Electronics product at the retailer post announcement of the tablet product.

This week, the Kindle Fire HD 16GB 7-inch SKU ranked as the No. 1 best-selling product in Amazon’s Electronics division.

The Kindle Fire HD 7-inch SKU with a faster CPU and double the RAM sells at $199.00.

The new 8.9-inch SKU will include a 1.5Ghz Dual-Core CPU, 16GB RAM, 1920 x 1200 HD display, Dual-band Dual Antennae Wi-Fi, HDMI out, and Dolby Digital Plus Audio at $249.00. A 32GB SKU will be sold at $369.00. The 7-inch SKUs will be sold Sept. 14.

In addition, an 8.9-inch 4G LTE Wireless 32GB SKU that can utilize a 12-Month, $59.99 per year data plan will cost $499.00. The 64GB SKU will sell at $599.00. The products will be sold Nov. 20.

The data plan will include 250GB per month of data, 20GB of cloud storage and $10 Appstore Credit.

Finally, a new entry-level Kindle will be sold at $69.00, and a new Kindle Paperwhite SKU will high resolution, high contrast, and front-lit technology will start at $119.00. Each will be sold Sept. 14.

The Kindle Fire totaled 22 percent of tablet market share to date. Google Inc. in July released the Nexus 7, a new 7-inch tablet that utilizes the Android OS.
