Sony Corp. this week said LittleBigPlanet for the Playstation Vita has entered gold manufacturing status and will be sold Sept. 25 in the U.S.
Developed by Tarsier Studios and Media Molecule, the title will include a brand new story mode, new art, new features, and new tools.
In addition, the title will utilize touch and tilt functionality for new level interactivity.
Sony will release LittleBigPlanet Karting to the Playstation 3 this fall.
The PS Vita includes dual analog sticks, a 5-inch multi-touch OLED display, 3G & GPS, front and rear touch panels, and a compass on three axes. It will utilize flash-memory game cards.
The PS Vita is sold in a Wi-Fi SKU at $249.99 and a 3G SKU at $299.99.
